Entries Close August 1st, so entry form needs to be mailed in by August 1st!
Make a copy so you remember what you entered.
Drop off is at the fairgrounds on August 15th.
ITEMS ARE TO BE BROUGHT TO THE EXHIBIT BUILDING "E" ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 15th BETWEEN 10:00 A.M. AND 3:00 P.M.
Entry Fee $1.00 per class.
SECTION RULES
1. All Dept. 909 general rules apply.
2. Beer bottles must be labeled and properly capped. No black bottle caps.
3. Committee would prefer one bottle (12-16 ounces), unmarked and without labels.
4. Entrant's name or initials cannot be listed on label.
5. Only one entrant per class, per person.
6. Please make comments or specific styles on back of entry tag for judges' use.
7. Over-all age for Beer and Wine entries is 21.

Neversink Museum International Great Beer Expo
Festival will take place this Saturday, July 25th, featuring more than 25 international breweries.
The event will be located 50 miles south of Kingston, at Hoag Rd & Route 209.
They have reached out to HVHB membership for volunteer beer pourers, crowd control, etc.

It's happening on Saturday, June 13th, 2009...and besides being one of the great benefits of HVHB club membership, it's one of the best Hudson Valley Home Brewers events of the year!

Big Brew Day 2009
In 1988, May 7 was announced before Congress as National Homebrew Day. The American Homebrewers Association created Big Brew as an annual event to celebrate National Homebrew Day not only in the United States, but around the world. Big Brew is held each year on the first Saturday in May.
Please join us on Saturday, May 2nd at Party Creations in Red Hook for Big Brew Day and the 2nd installment of the ESB. this is a great chance to make a brew that will be ready in time for our annual picnic!! Remember to bring brewing water and a dish to pass..........and of course homebrew to share. As usual the shop will be open in case you need any supplies for your big brew. This years event will start at 9a.m. and will finish by 7p.m.

Homebrew Alley 3
The NYCHG has announced the third annual Homebrew Alley, to be held February 8, 2009 (a Sunday) at Chelsea Brewing Company. This is a BJCP sanctioned competition. Winning entries count towards New York State Homebrewer of the Year. For details, click Here A Hudson Valley drop off point will be at Party Creations in Red Hook, NY. The instructions from The NYCGH are that "Entries should be dropped off or mailed to arrive between Friday, January 16 and Friday, January 30 or else they will not be entered in our contest."
